ABOUT US
Everything started in 2014, when we were in high school and we decided, as 15 and 16 year old guys, to go and visit Bologna, crossing the Apennines and reaching this modern yet storied city from our small valley. That trip made us discover the interest that we had for discovery and exploration: in the following months we visited together places like Perugia and Orvieto, still one-day trips but places that once again were not behind the corner, and we started to involve more people and make them travel with us.
In 2017 we decided to start sharing our experiences with the world, by creating this blog.Since then, we went on many more trips and we ventured on projects that were each time more ambitious than the previous, planning much longer journeys and even starting going abroad, to places like Dublin and Frankfurt.
Each and every journey is for us an arrival point but, simultaneously, a new starting point.
We decided to call ourselves Il Gusto di Viaggiare (A Taste for Travelling) due to the sensations that traveling evokes in us, and to what trips give us in terms of personal growth. For us, a good trips is like a good dish or a good glass of wine: they are experiences and things that we should not only enjoy while we live, eat, or drink them; they also open in front of us an inspiring light, related to beauty: this light enters in our lives and guides us towards experiences that are each time better and more fulfilling, thanks to the awareness that each time grows within us: knowing that we are living life, with capital L.Indeed, our motto is “Live to Travel,Travel to Live”.
The Staff

“I’m 27, I live in Tuscany in the province of Arezzo. I am curious by nature, and I like to discover new things each time. I like organizing trips, but always with the right spirit: happiness and carelessness. Cinema and traveling are my favourite hobbies. As a kid I was passionate about trains and that evolved in being interested in travelling as a whole”.

“I’m 26, I too live in the same area as Simone, in a valley called Casentino. I’ve always had a mentality focused on the discovery of the world and of what is peculiar or less known. Therefore, small villages but also big distant cities are places where I find inspiration and enrichment, in which sometimes I really feel at home. I am also really passionate about music, sports, arts, and futuristic technology”.
